At Everett Education Guardians, we believe that a thriving school district is the cornerstone of a strong community. We are parents, taxpayers, and concerned citizens united by a common purpose: to ensure that Everett Public Schools truly serves the best interests of every student, teacher, staff member, and taxpayer.
Our Vision: A transparent, accountable, and high-performing Everett Public Schools where every child receives the education they deserve, and every dollar is spent wisely for the common good.
A Call to Action, Born from Experience
Founders James and Shelly Lee created Everett Education Guardians after experiencing firsthand the challenges of advocating for accountability within Everett Public Schools. Their journey, which began with blowing the whistle on egregious corruption involving teachers, volunteers, and even school board members, quickly revealed a widespread pattern of similar issues across our community.
The outpouring of support and shared concerns from parents and taxpayers made one thing unequivocally clear: we are stronger together. No longer will individuals feel isolated and overwhelmed when facing the district. Everett Education Guardians is here to connect those with similar concerns, amplify our collective voice, and work together to resolve issues through the strength of our numbers.

This website serves as a vital resource and a central depository for all public records collected from EPS. We believe in open access to information, and we invite community members to contribute any additional documents or records they possess.
Currently Under Investigation: The Truth About Internal Investigations
Many in our community assert that Everett Public School’s internal investigators are corrupt, consistently finding in favor of the district, often at the expense of those reporting issues. Everett Education Guardians is actively investigating these assertions. We have formally requested the last 20 investigation reports completed by the district. Shockingly, the district is deliberately withholding these crucial documents until the day after election day, attempting to shield incumbent School Board Members from accountability. We will not let this stand.

We know there’s a long road ahead. But with a united community, we can achieve anything.
No longer will a single family go around and around with the school district trying to get appropriate accommodations or other support for their child – now there will be a whole community of families facing the same issue, working together.
No longer will a single taxpayer quietly voice their concerns – now there will be a group of taxpayers with similar concerns who can collectively leverage public records requests and collaboratively analyze and act on the results.
Many of us have felt pushed around by administrators and ignored by the school board. The days of feeling small against the large and powerful school district are over.
